Terms of Service and refunds upon enrollment and by creating and paying for my program of choice and prior to access to digital products and/or digital programs I, the student, agree to the following terms:
1- I agree that the program I choose is an independent study program which is offered online. The work is available on the dashboard, and it is taught completely online. And that I need to have the intellectual capacity and ability to study independently online.
2- I agree to and understand that promotions are non-refundable.
3- I agree that Digital Products are non-refundable as immediate access to the product is granted online.
4- I agree that the Registration Form is a binding contract.
5- I agree to have my credit or debit card charged for all the services and products I have paid and signed up for. I also agree that if I am using a card to sign up that is not in my name that I have full permission of the cardholder to use it to purchase services and/or products from this website.
6- I agree that program extensions are non-refundable as they are immediately granted.
7- I agree that if I have a physical impairment such as vision, hearing or speech, or use a speech recognition device, I will contact the school prior to registering for any program. If I enroll in any program and I do not contact the school prior to enrolling I will be subject to termination.
8- I agree that if I have special needs or have a confirmed disability, or intellectual deficiency of any kind, I will contact the school prior to registering for any program to ensure that my disability can be served by North American Academy. If I enroll in any program and I do not contact the school prior to enrolling I may be subject to termination.
*North American Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, religion, or sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity). However, as a learning institution it is imperative that we know whether an applicant has disabilities listed in #7 and 8 above to ascertain whether we are equipped for and can provide the academic content and support these specialized disabilities may require.
9- I agree that the Instant Pace Program is a digital product that expires in 30-days. I agree and understand that the program is designed to be completed in 30 days and that if I am not finished with it by the 30th day, I have the option to extend it for an additional fee while the program is still active. If, however, the program has expired or is abandoned, I may reinstate it by paying both a reinstatement fee and an extension fee. Please contact the school for more information.
10- I agree that the 60-day Swift Pace Program is a digital product that expires in 60-days. I agree and understand that the program is designed to be completed in 60 days and that if I am not finished with it by the 60th day, I have the option to extend it for an additional fee while the program is still active. If, however, the program has expired or is abandoned, I may reinstate it by paying both a reinstatement fee and an extension fee. Please contact the school for more information. I agree that I must be enrolled in the 60-day program for a minimum of 50-days before I can schedule and test for my final exam for graduation. If I finish my 60-day program and want to test prior to the 50th day, I can purchase a program upgrade/switch to Instant Pace testing prior to the 50th day for a fee of $99.99 which is non-refundable upon use.
11- I agree that the Self-Pace Program is a digital product that expires in 180-days. I agree and understand that the program is designed to be completed in 180 days and that if I am not finished with it by the 180th day, I have the option to extend it for an additional fee while the program is still active. If there is no activity in the account for any consecutive period of 90-days, it will be marked as abandoned. If, however, the program has expired or is abandoned, I may reinstate it by paying both a reinstatement fee and an extension fee. Please contact the school for more information.
12- I agree that the Spanish Program is a digital product that expires in 90-days. I agree and understand that the program is designed to be completed in 90 days and that if I am not finished with it by the 90th day, I have the option to extend it for an additional fee while the program is still active. If there is no activity in the account for any consecutive period of 90-days, it will be marked as abandoned. If, however, the program has expired or is abandoned, I may reinstate it by paying both a reinstatement fee and an extension fee. Please contact the school for more information.
13- I agree that there is a $235.40 testing fee and diploma/transcript fee upon completion of the program. I must pay this fee prior to scheduling my final exam. I understand that I will not gain access to my final examination until this fee is paid. Furthermore, I understand that once I schedule and take my final exam, this fee is non-refundable. This fee is mandatory, is non-refundable, and it is paid by all students to receive access to testing, diploma, transcript, leatherette cover and shipping. For international students, the postgraduate fee is $375 + shipping.
14- I agree that if I fail any one of the 5 subjects tested in my 100-question final exam (Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies and Math) there will be a $55 retesting fee for each subject retake. Once the retake(s) is taken, this fee(s) is non-refundable.
15- Because a special virtual monitor will be assigned to me to ensure the integrity of my testing session, I agree that if I fail to show to a schedule testing session a $50 no show fee will be imputed onto my student file. Once the breach has taken place and the no-show fee is paid, it is non-refundable.
16- I agree that once I pass all testing and graduate that I will fill out the Transcript Validation form in an expeditious manner to accept my graduation and terms.
17- I agree that once I fill out the Transcript Validation form, I will write a Google Review regarding the effectiveness of the program I enrolled and graduated from. I also agree I will not write any defamatory or spiteful reviews that may harm the school and its reputation.
18- I agree that my graduation package will ship out within 20-business days excluding Fridays, weekends and holidays once I fill out the transcript validation fee.
19- I agree that if I cheat on quizzes, essays, final exam or submit work that was not written or done by mean, I will be subject to immediate termination.
20- I agree that I must understand the program and follow instructions in order to graduate. If the school determines that I am not making satisfactory progress and the likelihood of me successfully completing all the work is below a 70%, I will be subject to termination.
21- I agree that subscriptions or split monthly payments for digital products are non-refundable, particularly if a promotion has been applied.
